As always it has been yet another busy busy month at Freedom. We’ve been none stop doing the following:

• We’ve had our weekly visits to Bretforton Manor, where we hire the swimming pool. We have lots of fun playing games, having races and relaxing on the floats.
• Everyone has been working hard working on their scrap books, work board and other projects all made by staff and catered to service users, likes, goals and interests.
• We have been doing lots of woodwork, making things for our garden and allotment.
• We have been working hard at the allotment, gardening, building, etc making it ready for all our produce!
• We been busy doing lots of cooking, making yummy for for each other, to take home and for the cafe.
• We celebrated lots of birthdays, having some fun parties and yummy cake!
• We had an open day where people were able to come and see our extension. We had a wonderful day seeing lots of faces, we had an owl come and visit as well as lots of singing and dancing. A wonderful day to celebrate the new building.
• We made bird seed balls for service users to take home. We also learnt about the importance of feeding birds and different types of birds.
• We had a trip to see our friends at the Wythall Transport museum. We had a look and leant about all of the old buses before being taken out on one. This is somewhere we visit a couple of times a year and love it each time.
• Annnddddd SO much more!!
